Macrath, as Agent, will be offering a pair of eye catching fillies at the upcoming National Yearling Sale.
Both fillies were sired by stallions capable of siring top-class fillies, with both Act Of War and Vercingetorix having supplied G1 winning champion fillies.

Cassandra (Lot 221) shares her G1 Cape Guineas winning sire Act Of War with former Equus Champion, and Wilgerbosdrift Triple Tiara winner, War Of Athena, as well as such top-class sprinters as Battle Force, Bartholdi and Rollwiththepunches. This filly is out of the smart racemare Littleblacknumber, a five time winner who ran second in the G3 Strelitizia Stakes. A daughter of Irish 2000 Guineas winner Black Minnaloushe, Littleblacknumber is out of a four time winning own-sister to G1 winning filly Trust Antonia, with Littleblacknumber’s dam Antonia’s Pride a half-sister to champions Gold Flier and Succesful Bidder.

Outstanding sire Vercingetorix, whose daughters include champions Mrs Geriatrix and fellow G1 winners Chansonette and Vernichey, is represented in this draft by a filly (Lot 304) who hails from a female line with a great record of producing high-class fillies. This filly is out of the twice winning Ruby Dancer, a half-sister to four black type horses, headed by the graded stakes winning fillies Fanzene and Joan Ranger, and further back this is the family of G1 winning fillies Brave Mary (Allan Robertson Championship) and Takingthepeace (SA Fillies Classic).
