Jan Mantel’s Millstream Farm will be offering a high-class draft at this year’s National Yearling Sale.
Not only is this draft made up of yearlings sired by all of Erupt, Futura, Querari, The United States,Twice Over and Vercingetorix, it also includes a half-brother to the top-class filly Missisippi Burning.
The latter, herself a graduate of the 2018 National Sale, won or placed in nine of 12 starts, with Missisippi Burning victorious in both the G1 World Sports Betting Cape Fillies Guineas of 2019 and G2 World Sports Betting Fillies Guineas of the same season.
Millstream Farm will be offering a Querari half-brother (Lot 258) to this brilliant filly at this year’s National Sale, and this regally bred colt (his dam is a stakes placed daughter of multiple champion sire Hussonet) looks to be a potential star of the sale!
In a draft packed by the progeny of some of South Africa’s most exciting and popular stallions, other potential standouts of Millstream’s National Sale draft include:

-a colt (Lot 327) by Horse Of The Year and promising sire Futura, he is a half-brother to exported G1 Cape Guineas third Macthief and full-brother to the useful Vihaan’s Pie
