MORE STARS TO EMERGE FROM BEAUMONT STUD

Beaumont Stud, and its forebearer Knavesmire Stud, has raised and reared plethora of equine stars over the years.

However, the horse most synonymous with Beaumont Stud is outstanding miler and dual South African Horse Of The Year Variety Club. The latter made history when he became the first international raider to win Hong Kong’s G1 Champions Mile back in 2014.

A son of the much missed Var, Variety Club, who claimed no fewer than six Equus Awards during his illustrious career and was victorious in the 2014 G2 Godolphin Mile, also picked up wins in all of the G1 Cape Guineas, G1 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate and two runnings of the G1 Rising Sun Gold Challenge.

Beaumont Stud, also breeders of impressive recent Need For Speed Sprint winner Trompie, will be bringing another promising draft to this year’s November Two Year Old Sale, with this draft including two-year-olds by such exciting stallions as Canford Cliffs, Futura, Master Of My Fate, Pomodoro and Twice Over, to name a few.

Five time G1 winner Canford Cliffs is represented here by a half-sister (Lot 63) to the useful filly Pam’s Princess, while Listed Sun Classique Handicap winner Saint Sophia, who hails from the immediate family of legendary racehorse and sire Sunday Silence, has a colt (Lot 69) by the very successful Twice Over on offer.

Another attractive lot in this draft is the Master Of My Fate (Lot 163) colt whose stakes placed, five time winning dam hails from the same family as eight time G1 winner, and multiple Equus Champion, Legal Eagle.

Beaumont’s draft for the 2022 November Two Year Old Sale can be found in Block A at the TBA complex in Germiston.
