NADESON PARK OFFER LARGE DRAFT AT CAPE YEARLING SALE

The Hermanus based Nadeson Park Stud will be offering a large, quality draft at the upcoming Cape Yearling Sale.

Nadeson’s draft is dominated by progeny of their resident Redoute’s Choice horse Time Thief, himself the sire of outstanding Australian racemare In Her Time, with Time Thief’s progeny having already earned in excess of $21 million in stakes.

A three-parts brother to five time G1 winner and multiple South African champion Laisserfaire, Time Thief has nine lots in this draft, with Count Dubois and Jay Peg the other stallions represented in Nadeson’s Cape Sale consignment.

Among Time Thief’s offerings in this draft are a colt (Lot 47) whose dam is a G3 placed daughter of Australian champion sire and broodmare sire Encosta De Lago, a colt (Lot 61) whose dam is a half-sister to Lady’s Slipper Stakes winner Ocean’s Swift, a filly (Lot 91) out of a three-parts sister to July winning champion Bold Silvano, a filly (Lot 155) out of a daughter of Equus Champion Bold Ellinore, and a filly (Lot 180) from the family of South African Horse Of The Year Yard-Arm.

The well-established Count Dubois, whose progeny include such champions as Asylum Seeker, Edict Of Nantes and French Navy, has a single lot on offer. This is a well-related filly (Lot 181) who is a three-parts sister to the Count Dubois sired Winter Guineas hero State Crown, and this filly’s fourth dam is none other than G1 Garden Province Stakes winner Lisa Belle.

Equus Champion, and four time G1 winner, Jay Peg is another well-established stallion represented here. The Dubai Duty Free winner is responsible for a filly (Lot 125) whose dam is a dual winning daughter of breed shaping champion sire Giant’s Causeway, and this filly’s third dam is Canadian champion Choral Group.
