From G1 WSB SA Classic winner Red Saxon to G2 Epol Umkhomazi Stakes winner Swing Upon A Star, and such stakes winners as Who Do You Love and Big Burn, Narrow Creek Stud has really made a considerable impact in South African black type races.
Narrow Creek also bred the classy G3 Three Troikas Stakes queen Sprinkles, who has earned more than R760 000 in prize money.
A daughter of Elusive Fort, Sprinkles was a R50 000 buy from the 2020 Cape Yearling Sale -surely one of the great bargain buys of the year.
This year, John Everett will be bringing another smart draft to the Cape Yearling Sale, with Narrow Creek Stud’s Cape consignment made up of yearlings sired by Buffalo Bill Cody, Canford Cliffs, Erupt, Futura, Heavenly Blue, Rafeef and Visionaire.
The Narrow Creek Stud bred Listed Swallow Stakes winner Freed From Desire has a Buffalo Bill Cody half-brother (Lot 169) on the sale, while the same sire is represented here by a filly (Lot 124) out of a twice winning daughter of champion sire Gimmethegreenlight.
Seventeen Again (Lot 29), is an Erupt half-sister to three winners including the useful Golden Tractor and Late December (Lot 44) is a Rafeef colt from the family of G1 winners African Appeal and Brave Mary among others.
