NARROW CREEK SEEKS MORE SUCCESS AT AUGUST SALE

Narrow Creek Stud enjoyed some fantastic results in the recently concluded 2021-2022 racing season.

John Everett and his team were responsible for no fewer than nine stakes winners last season, with Narrow Creek Stud bred thoroughbreds claiming 12 black type races and more than R7.564 million in 2021-2022.

Notable flagbearers for the stud last season included G1 WSB SA Classic winner Red Saxon, graded stakes winning fillies Big Burn and Sprinkles, and the very exciting, unbeaten filly Who Do You Love.

The latter won all three of her starts last season, culminating in a impressive win in the Listed TAB Perfect Promise Sprint, where Who Do You Love accounted for the likes of Bonika and Epsom Girl.

Excitingly, Narrow Creek Stud will be offering a half-sister (Lot 230) to Who Do You Love at the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale. Already named Coulditbe, the daughter of five time G1 winner Canford Cliffs also numbers G2 KRA Fillies Guineas winner Maybe Yes as a half-sister, and Coulditbe looks a very exciting prospect indeed!

This consignment also includes two-year-olds by the likes of Erupt, Rafeef, What A Winter and the outstanding Vercingetorix. The latter is represented here by Joker Man (Lot 265), a colt whose twice winning dam is a half-sister to former G1 Gold Medallion winner Eden Roc among others.

Narrow Creek’s draft for the 2022 August Two Year Old Sale can be found in Block C at the TBA complex in the days leading up to the August Sale.
