Narrow Creek Stud, whose alumni include such G1 winning stars as Isivunguvungu and Red Saxon, had another good season in 2023-2024.
Among the notable performers representing Narrow Creek last season were the progressive Joker Man, highly rated filly Khethiwe’s Destiny, and promising filly Pointer, to name but a few.
In addition, Isinvunguvungu is gearing up for a campaign in North America.
The farm will be offering four smart prospects at the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale, with this draft made up of two-year-olds sired by Canford Cliffs, Danon Platina, Fire Away and the red hot Rafeef.
John Everett singled out the following lots as holding especial appeal:
Lot 276: Shivering Light f Fire Away -Sassy Sal
She is a neat, racy filly. Nicely put together.
By the very promising sire Fire Away, this filly is out of a twice winning full-sister to Listed Olympic Duel Stakes/Listed Ladies Mile winner Chevauchee, dam of smart filly Enemy Territory and G2 Ridgemont Highlands Peninsula Handicap runner up Imilenzeyokududuma. This filly’s third dam won the G1 Irish Oaks.
Lot 321: Fifty Ways c Canford Cliffs -The Gardener Girl
Well grown, strong colt. He is a speedy type.
By the same sire as last season’s stakes winning two-year-olds Almond Sea and Simply Majestic, this colt is a half-brother to 2024 G1 Gold Medallion contender Cold Shine. His dam, The Gardner Girl, is a winning own sister to G1 Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies
Classic winner Takingthepeace, and his granddam won three and finished second in the G3 Sycamore Sprint.
This draft can be viewed in Block C at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
