Narrow Creek Stud enjoyed an excellent season in 2020-2021, with their representatives headed by the top-class three-year-old Catch Twentytwo, as well as the likes of Adios Amigos, and Homely Girl. Narrow Creek also enjoyed notable recent success when the Narrow Creek Stud bred Big Burn captured the Bloodstock SA Sales Cup (Fillies) at Turffontein.

The farm will be offering a small but very classy draft at the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale, with top-class sires Elusive Fort, Querari and What A Winter, all represented in Narrow Creek Stud’s August Sale consignment.

Champion sprinter What A Winter, the Leading Sire of 2YOs in 2020-2021, has two lots on offer. Blue Waters (Lot 85) is a three-parts sister to the What A Winter sired pair of G2 Sceptre Stakes winner Magical Wonderland and the promising Mufasa, while the filly (Lot 211) out of the winning More Than Ready mare Tycoon Chief is out of a half-sister to multiple Australian G1 winner Bentley Biscuit from the family of More Than Ready’s outstanding daughter More Joyous.

Elusive Fort, whose progeny include both the aforementioned Catch Twentytwo as well as the 2021 G1 Vodacom Durban July winner Kommetdieding, is represented here by Manic Monday (Lot 160), a half-sister to last season’s Listed Lady’s Slipper Stakes winner Homely Girl, and out of a winning daughter of multiple champion sire Silvano.
