Narrow Creek Stud, whose recent alumni include this season’s star three-year-old Catch Twentytwo, has a very appealing draft on offer at the 2021 Cape Yearling Sale.
The farm will be offering yearlings sired by a host of different stallions including Canford Cliffs, Master Of My Fate and Querari.
Five time G1 winner Canford Cliffs, whose first South African crop are yearlings, has three lots in Narrow Creek’s Cape Sale draft – Whatyouwaitingfor (Lot 37) is a filly out of a winning Mark Of Esteem half-sister to Brazilian G3 winner Not To Tell You, Pied Piperess, a 4 time winning half-sister to dual G3 winner Katy’s Lane has a colt (Lot 72) by Canford Cliffs, and
and Southern Style (Lot 153). The latter is a beautifully bred filly whose dam is a winning Var three-parts sister to Equus Champion, and multiple G1 winner, Val De Ra.
The always popular Querari is another G1 winner represented in this draft, with the son of Oasis Dream represented here by Look Back (Lot 50), with this full-brother to the useful Rip It Up out of a half-sister to three black type horses including G1 winner Quita Nistel.
Ride On (Lot 82), a filly by triple G1 winner Jackson, is out of a granddaughter of outstanding producer Gypsy Queen, while Release Me (Lot 109), a colt by the increasingly successful Jet Master horse Master Of My Fate, is out of a dual winning daughter of champion Australian sire, and increasingly successful broodmare sire, Exceed And Excel.
This year’s Cape Yearling Sale will be held at the Mistico Equestrian Centre on February 28th, and the catalogue can be viewed online at www.bsa.co.za
