NDORO STUD OFFER A PAIR OF SMART COLTS AT CAPE SALE

The breeders of such high-class stakes winners as Caya Coco, Heavens Girl, and Rock Pool, Ndoro Stud will be bringing two high-quality colts to this year’s Cape Yearling Sale.

Former Horse Of The Year Futura, whose numerous high-class offspring include recent G3 Glorious Goodwood Chairman’s Cup winner Future Swing, champion Future Pearl and the Ndoro bred G3 Policitian Stakes winner Rockpool, is the sire of a colt (Lot 52) whose dam Free State ran second in the Listed Kwazulu-Natal Stakes. Free State, whose granddam is the Fort Wood sired champion Kimberley Mine, is herself a full-sister to the smart performer Fear Not, a four time who ran third in the G3 Diana Stakes.

This colt is from an outstanding international family whose members also include such G1 winners as Lilacs And Lace, Lucky Lilac, and Stella Madrid to name a few.

Last, but by no means least, in this draft is the colt (Lot 134) by Buffalo Bill Cody -whose very first runner was a winner. This colt in question is out of a mare who won four, and his granddam, a full-sister to the dam of G3 Lebelo Sprint winner Anna Capri, is a half-sister to former South African Horse Of The Year and outstanding broodmare National Colour. The latter also ranks as the dam of G1 winning champion Mustaaqeem and former G1 Computaform Sprint victor, and now hugely successful sire, Rafeef. Both Mustaaqeem and Rafeef were sired by Redoute’s Choice -who is also sire of the aforementioned Buffalo Bill Cody!

Ndoro Stud has enjoyed another good season in 2023-2024, with the farm’s flagbearers including Need For Speed Sprint winner Blue Holly.

This draft can be found in Block D at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth.
