The Ndoro Stud will be offering four well related yearlings at the upcoming Cape Yearling Sale, scheduled to take place at the Mistico Equestrian Centre on February 28th.
Ndoro’s Cape Sale string are made up of yearlings sired by Canford Cliffs, Master Of My Fate and Twice Over, and they look an attractive bunch.
Outstanding racehorse Canford Cliffs, a group winner at Royal Ascot three years running, is represented here by a filly (Lot 14) out of a mare by the increasingly successful Ideal World. This well bred filly sports G3 Angelsey Stakes winner Air Of Distinction as her third dam, and she hails from the outstanding family responsible for such group winners as Karasta, Kargali, Kasthari, and Proud Native.
European champion Twice Over, whose smashing first crop was headed by dual Vodacom Durban July winner Do It Again and the G1 winning two-year-old Sand And Sea, has two fillies on offer. His pair includes a half-sister (Lot 22) to G2 Senor Santa Handicap winner Dollar Dazzler, and a half-sister (Lot 106) to the stakes placed filly Captain’s Flo, with the latter out of a winning half-sister to Irridescence Stakes winner Pure Power, and hailing from the same family as legendary sprinter Flobayou.
Last but not least, emerging star sire Master Of My Fate is the sire of a colt (Lot 136), whose three time winning dam is a three-parts sister to none other than Horse Of The Year, and five time G1 winner, Yard-Arm. This colt also numbers Triple Crown winner Abashiri as a close relative, as well as the likes of high-class stakes winners Current Event, Donya, Green Haze, and Just Chaos.
