Trading as Owloon Horses, Spencer Cook will be offering a small, but quality draft at the 2021 National Yearling Sale.
His five strong draft is made up of yearlings by such proven and popular stallions as Gimmethegreenlight, Querari, Vercingetorix and What A Winter, with the Owloon consignment including some very choicely bred yearlings indeed.
The 2019 Langerman winner Snow Report has a Vercingetorix half-sister (Lot 257) on offer in the form of Virgin River with the latter also numbering the durable Brad’s Surge as a half-brother, and further back, this is the family of high class filly Lemon And Lime.
Prominent sire Querari, whose progeny include current top sprinter Rio Querari, has two lots in this draft. Summerland (Lot 25) is a half-sister to 3 winners including Kings Cup hero Dark Moon Rising, while the beautifully bred, and cleverly named, Lemon Scent (Lot 100) is a half-sister to none other than former G2 Wilgerbosdrift SA Oaks winner Secret Potion.
Imperial Winter (Lot 60) is a colt by the ever popular What A Winter, and this colt is out of a winning own sister to G2 Gold Bracelet winner Razzle Dazzle Rose from the family of Singapore champion Rising Empire.
Last, but by no means least, in Owloon Horses’ National Sale draft is the beautifully bred Gimmethegreenlight colt Money Heist (Lot 422). The latter is out of the smart racemare Copper Jet, herself a full-sister to East Cape champion, and dual G1 winner, Copper Parade as well as the stakes placed dam of talented sprinter Ultra Magnus.
