Located in the charming Rheebokskloof Valley, Paarl, Western Cape, Owloon Horses commercially breeds and raises thoroughbreds with patience, passion and devotion in the quest to find and bring out the best qualities of each and every horse.
Owloon’s involvement in the thoroughbred industry has become a natural extension to their farming activities which includes table grapes, citrus and pomegranates exported to Europe and UK as well as offering luxury hospitality to international guests.
The Paarl farm will be bringing an extremely attractive draft to the 2022 National Yearling Sale, as Owloon’s Alex De Wet explains, “We are proud to offer eight yearlings at this year’s National Sale. Our draft is made up of five colts and three fillies. We have two Rafeef yearlings on sale, two Futura colts, a smashing Vercingetorix filly, a colt from the first crop of Danon Platina, as well as two yearlings by Flower Alley.”
