PROSPER STUD TO THRIVE AT CAPE YEARLING SALE

Prosper Stud will be bringing three smart lots to the upcoming Cape Yearling Sale.

The farm’s trio were sired by Potala Palace, Royal Mo and Talk Of The Town and look sure to appeal to discerning buyers.

Royal Mo, whose progeny include R5 million plus earner Royal Aussie, is the sire of Gift Of Royal (Lot 5), a half-brother to five time winner Kept Secret. This colt hails from the family of G2 KRA Fillies Guineas winner Maybe Yes as well as classy graded stakes winning siblings Big Burn and Catch Twentytwo among others.

Var’s son Talk Of The Town is an exciting addition to the Cape stallion band and he is represented in Prosper’s Cape Sale draft by a filly (Lot 19)  whose three time winning dam hails from an outstanding Australian family.

Himself a G1 winner and G1 sire, Potala Palace is represented here by Winning Beauty (Lot 69), a filly whose dam is a winning own-sister to G2 Post Merchants victor Daring Dave. Sharing her broodmare sire Dynasty with the mighty Charles Dickens, Winning Beauty’s third dam is a full-sister to Breeders’ Cup winning champion Manila.

Prosper Stud’s draft can be found in Block B at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth racecourse.
This year’s Cape Sale is set to take place on February 26th, and trading will get underway at 12:30 sharp.
