RIETHUISKRAAL BID FOR MORE SUCCESS AT NATIONAL SALE

Riethuiskraal Stud has been associated with many top-class performers over the years. From the likes of Horse Of The Year, and outstanding producer National Colour, to G1 Beverly D Stakes heroine Crimson Palace, Riethuiskraal’s Altus Joubert has bred his share of outstanding racehorses.

Riethuiskraal will be hoping to replicate this success when they bring a high-class draft to this year’s National Yearling Sale.

Stud manager Kassie Robertze is proud of the string that the farm is bringing to Germiston, and mentions the following as lots to watch in particular.

Lot 35 Augrabies is a colt by Erupt out of Rivulet.
He is out of a listed race winning mare. A well built son of Erupt with strong features making him a good solid horse.

Lot 276 American Matador is a colt by The United States out of Flamenco Dancer.
He is out of a Trippi mare and is a strong, well balanced colt that is on the leg and covers good ground.

Lot 300 Ancient Wisdom is a filly by Ideal World out of Guest Of Honour.
Dam is half sister to Crimson Palace and family of Way Of The World. She is a nice racey filly who is on the leg with lots of scope.

Lot 308 Gaelic Dancer is a filly by Querari out of Hill Of Fire.
Dam is a multiple winning mare to produce 7 runners and 5 winners. This is a good looking, strong and muscular filly that will come soon and fast.
