SANDOWN STUD’S AUGUST DRAFT LOOKS SO FLAWLESS!

Sandown Stud ended the 2021-2022 South Africa racing season on a high note, with the Sandown bred So Flawless making a big impression on the Cape racecourse.

A daughter of former Horse Of The Year, and National Sale graduate, Legislate, So Flawless ended the past racing season winning first the Listed WSB Sign Up Now Ladies Mile, before adding the G3 Econorisk Final Fling Stakes to her tally of wins.

And, when taking into account the farm has also bred such champions as French Navy and Magnificent Seven, Sandown Stud is a farm serious buyers need to pay close attention to!

The farm will be bringing a balanced and well bred draft of thoroughbreds to the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale, with Sandown set to offer lots sired by Duke Of Marmalade, Greys Inn, Master Of My Fate and their consistently successful resident sire Pathfork.

They will also be acting as agent for Drakenstein Stud for William Longsword filly (Lot 203) Sigrid Swing, and for Shadwell SA with two-year-olds sired by Flower Alley (Lot 157) and What A Winter (Lot 16).

Potential standouts in this string include Bound By Destiny (Lot 88), a colt by Master Of My Fate whose dam is a half-sister to the Sandown bred champion French Navy, and an unnamed What A Winter filly (Lot 16) from the family of champion fillies Tracy’s Element and Typhoon Tracy to name but two.

Sandown Stud’s August Sale draft can be found in Block F at the TBA Complex in Germiston, and the string can be viewed in the days leading up to the sale.
