SKITT SKIZZLE TO SHINE AT AUGUST SALE

There is no denying that Bosworth Farm Stud’s resident stallion Skitt Skizzle is a vastly underrated sire.
Described by his trainer Sean Tarry as “good as any of the others”, Skitt Skizzle won his first start by ten lengths, and went on to win twice more and beat the likes of Welwitschia and Link Man when fourth in the G2 Senor Santa Handicap of 2014.

Despite having a small first crop of just seven runners, Skitt Skizzle made an immediate impact at stud, with the Jet Master son’s initial crop headed by Listed Secretariat Stakes queen Cordillera and the very classy Tierra Del Fuego.
His subsequent crops have also been small in number, but they have yielded a number of high-class gallopers including G3 Sycamore Sprint winner Tropic Sun and top Zimbabwean galloper True Beauty.

Bosworth will be offering five fillies by their beautifully bred sire at the upcoming August Two Year Old, and these fillies are all worthy of a second glance.  Bosworth’s Neil Orford has the following to say about his August sale draft:

Cartagena (Lot 12): f Skitt Skizzle -Magic Dynasty
We did this mating because there is a strong affinity between Skitt Skizzle and Dynasty mares
Superskitt (123): f Skitt Skizzle -Super Pursuit
The Skitt Skizzle/Silvano cross produced True Beauty -winner of the Castle Tankard and second in the OK Grand Challenge
Granchaco (Lot 163): f Skitt Skizzle -Aconcagua
This mating between Jet Master half-siblings has produced a high-quality, robust filly
Drumskitt (Lot 224): f Skitt Skizzle -Drum Fire
High-quality, robust filly from a top Bosworth family
Spice Trade (Lot 244): f Skitt Skizzle -Goede Hoop
Her granddam produced three good winners from just three runners
