STONE HILL STUD HAVE THE MO EFFECT

Well performed young stallion Royal Mo, a son of outstanding US stallion Uncle Mo, has made a bright start to his stud career despite being represented by relatively few numbers.

Winner of the G3 Robert B. Lewis Stakes and third in the G1 Santa Anita Derby, Royal Mo’s small first crop is headed by R5 million plus earner Royal Aussie, who looks a graded stakes winner in the making, while another son of the sire, Bob’s Your Uncle, caught the eye when winning at Turffontein recently.

Stone Hill Stud will be offering five yearlings by this promising young stallion at the 2023 National Yearling Sale.

Royal Dawn (Lot 68) is a colt out of the smart, four time winner September Bloom and he hails from the same family as G1 Gamely Handicap queen Citronnade, while another smart Royal Mo colt on sale is the son (Lot 387) out of the dual winning Trippi daughter of champion Bold Ellinore.

Royal Mo also has three cracking fillies in this draft -Lady Of Arc (Lot 105), who hails from the family of French G1 winner Bold Edge, Lady Eli Mo(Lot 168), a daughter of Swallow Stakes winner All At Once, and the filly (Lot 365) out of Listed East Cape Paddock Stakes heroine Maverick Girl.

This draft can be found in Block HH at the TBA Complex in Germiston.

This year’s National Sale is set to take place on April 21st and 22nd and the catalogue can be viewed online at www.bsa.co.za.
