SUIKERBOSVIEW BRING THREE OF THE BEST TO NOVEMBER SALE

Suikerbosview Stud is a young farm with high hopes for the future. One of the newer farms in the South African thoroughbred industry, Suikerbosview has plenty to recommend it.

Based close to both Vaal and Turffontein racecourses, Suikerbosview Stud is owned by Robyn Klaasen and Joshua Peter, with Robyn hailing from a strong equestrian background.

Robyn studied Equine Science through the Warwickshire University before embarking on a career which saw her work in Australia before returning to South Africa. She purchased Suikerbosview around the time of the Summerhill dispersal sale, which allowed Robyn to acquire a number of weanlings at the time.

This farm will be offering three smart two-year-olds at this month’s November Two Year Old Sale.

Silvano’s four time winning daughter Penny Serenade, already dam of the useful winners Pragmatist and Persistance, has a Captain Of All filly (Lot 42) on this sale, while Potala Palace, sire of the likes of Katak and Singforafa, has two lots in this draft -namely a filly (Lot 42) whose third dam is G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest winner Seeking The Pearl, and a half-brother (Lot 61) to the useful Raspberry Beret, whose dam is a half-sister to G2 winner Monet.

Suikerbosview Stud’s draft for the 2022 November Two Year Old Sale can be viewed in Block D at the TBA complex in Germiston.
