Big Sky Ranch will be offering an attractive consignment at the 2024 August Two Year Old Sale. Not only does this string include two-year-olds by such G1 sires as Act Of War, Captain Of All, Elusive Fort and Lance, Big Sky will also be offering some fillies already sporting considerable paddock value.

One such filly is Artifact (Lot 297), a daughter of Horizon and G1 Avontuur Estate Cape Fillies Guineas winner Sparkling Gem. From a world class female line, Artifact is a half-sister to four winners including the dam of graded stakes winners King Of Gems and Pink Tourmaline, with Pink Tourmaline sired by a son of Dynasty, the sire of Horizon himself.
Futura, sire of Pink Tourmaline among others, is represented here by Princess Shelly (Lot 252), a half-sister to Listed Off To Stud Stakes winner Emerald Princess, while Come Together (Lot 51), a filly by proven G1 sire and champion Elusive Fort, is out of a What A Winter half-sister to dual G3 winning sprinter True To Life, and her third dam is the G1 winning champion Circle Of Life.
Another filly with plenty of paddock value is Act Of Grace (Lot 95), a filly who shares her G1 Cape Guineas winning sire Act Of War with champion filly War Of Athena, among others. A half-sister to three winners, Act Of Grace is out of the winning Silvano mare Dalaal, a very close relative of Equus Champion Nebraas, with Nebraas sired by Silvano’s star son Vercingetorix.
