TOP BLOODLINES TO BE FOUND AT PAARDEBERG STUD

The recently established Paardeberg Stud is an exciting addition to the thoroughbred stud farms in South Africa. Not only is the farm home to an impeccably bred G1 Breeders’ Cup Mile winner in the form of Expert Eye, Paardeberg Stud is quickly gathering a top-class band of mares to its ranks. From daughters of champion Icy Air, to daughters of Western Winter and Trippi, and stakes winner Red Berry, Paardeberg’s broodmare band continues to grow in quality and numbers.

Paardeberg will be offering four well bred two-year-olds at the upcoming August Two Year Sale, and Sally Bruss could not be happier with her draft. Sally had the following comments to make about her August Sale string:
Lot 36: Queensland f Querari -Arissa
She is a very attractive, well made daughter of well bred Silvano mare Arissa.
Bred on the highly successful Querari/Silvano cross, this filly is from the immediate family of the Querari sired stakes winner Luna Wish.
Lot 136: Gale Warning c Elusive Fort -Gail Force
He is a well made, attractive colt, a grandson of the very successful mare Icy Air.
By the same sire as Kommetdieding, this colt is out of a winning half-sister to champion Russet Air.
Lot 202: Little Boy Blue c Erik The Red  – Made In Hollywood
He is a neat, athletic colt by Erik The Red, out of the well performed Querari mare Made In Hollywood.
Out of a mare who was runner up in the G3 Strelitzia Stakes, this colt hails from the same female line as outstanding sires Fappiano and Quiet American.
Lot 214: African Pride c Rafeef -Mina Salaam
He is a typical Rafeef. A big strong, imposing half brother to leading sprinting filly True To Life. Very similar type  to William Robertson.
This colt is out of a multiple stakes winning daughter of outstanding sire Medaglia D’Oro and champion Circle Of Life.

This draft can be found in Block E at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
