This imposing consignment is made up of yearlings sired by a host of different stallions including Act Of War, Declarationofpeace, Last Winter, Master Of My Fate, Querari, Rafeef, What A Winter and the sensational One World.
The latter, South Africa’s Leading First Season Sire for 2023-2024, is the sire of a colt (Lot 4) whose twice winning dam is a half-sister to four black type horses headed by G1 Cape Fillies Guineas winner Indiscreet Fantasy.
One World’s stablemate What A Winter is represented in this draft by Black Frost (Lot 27), a colt whose third dam is a full-sister to dual English classic winner Midway Lady, herself the dam of an Oaks winner in the form of Eswarah.
Met runner up Last Winter, like What A Winter a son of multiple champion sire Western Winter, has two fillies on offer including a half-sister (Lot 7) to G3 Strelitzia Stakes winner Neptune’s Rain, while Querari’s sole offering is the half-sister (Lot 10) to debut winner Siberian Winter, with this filly hailing from the immediate family of multiple G1 winning filly Esoterique among others.
Promising two-year-old Disting has a Declarationofpeace half-brother (Lot 150) on offer, while Trippi’s four time winning daughter Trippi’s Girl has a Rafeef filly (Lot 202), bred on the same cross as the brilliant William Robertson, on the sale.
