Volmoed Stud will be offering a very attractive looking consignment to this year’s August Two Year Old Sale. Among the stallions represented are Danon Platina, Elusive Fort, Fire Away, Flower Alley, Pathfork and The United States.
When taking into account, that the two-year-olds on offer hail from high-class families, it is easy to understand why Volmoed’s Inel Bekker is so upbeat about her draft!

Inel had the following comments to make about likely standout prospects on sale.
Lot 27: Titan Of The Turf c William Longsword -Afrostar
Lovely, scopey son of William Longsword. He is a good mover and well grown for a first foal.
Lot 151: f Fire Away -Head Of State
Will be an early type, looks like she will be quite speedy. A well bred daughter of Fire Away.
Lot 153: Secret Warrior c Captain Of All -Hero’s Daughter
A good looking son of Captain Of All, well grown for a late foal who walks well. He is bred on the same pattern as Linebacker.
Lot 165: Intensity c The United States -Illumiere
A cracker of a colt, strong who walks well and stands over ground.
Lot 194:f Flower Alley -Leeway
A filly with a lot of presence, she has a lovely length of rein, is scopey and well grown.
Lot 197: f Elusive Fort -Lifes Design
Well grown filly, stands over ground and has a good girth.
Lot 246: Dark Matter f The United States -Perfect Tigress
Flashy filly, with a good walk and a very nice hind quarter.
Lot 259: f Pathfork -Razzle My Tazzle
Very smart filly for a first foal, looks like an early type with a good girth and walks well.
Lot 314: Shambho f Danon Platina -Suzi Woo
A good looking grey filly who walks well and stands over ground.
