One of the most striking aspects about the draft that Wilgerbosdrift will be offering at the 2025 National Yearling Sale is the number of attractive updates to be found here.
Crack Of Dawn, a filly from the first crop of Malmoos, is out of the Trippi sired G1 Thekwini Stakes runner up Dawn Calling, whose half-brother Confederate won the 2025 G1 TAB SA Classic.
The beautifully bred Fizz Italiano is out of Gin Fizz, who is not only a half-sister to champion Sparkling Water but also to this season’s G2 Wilgerbosdrift Gauteng Fillies Guineas winner Spumante Dolce, while Cape May, who shares his sire Fire Away with recent G1 winners Confederate and Fire Attack among others, hails from the same female line as recent Australian G1 winner Linebacker.
Ecotourism, a colt by Wilgerbosdrift’s exciting young sire Hawwaam, is another who hails from a red hot family, with his relatives including not only this season’s G3 Cape Classic winner Great Plains but also recent G2 TAB SA Nursery winner Green Diamond.
