WILGERBOSDRIFT’S WELL BALANCED DRAFT TO IMPRESS AT NATIONAL SALE

Perennially among the top breeders in South Africa, Wilgerbosdrift will be offering an excellent draft at this year’s National Yearling Sale.

Wilgerbosdrift’s Gail Bulpitt is confident the farm’s string will make a good impression at the National Sale, and says, “It is a very well balanced, with some really good looking horses on offer.”

Wilgerbosdrift will be offering yearlings by all of Danon Platina, Fire Away, Flower Alley, Master Of My Fate, Querari, Var and Vercingetorix at this year’s sale, and Gail has singled out a few really outstanding lots in this draft:

Lot 51: Cymric c Vercingetorix – Savannah Cat
“A very nice colt, he is a half-brother to impressive recent debut winner Egyptian Mau.” From the family of Western Winter, Savannah Cat is a winning half-sister to G3 Kings Cup winner Bulleting Home.

Lot 100: Riding The Storm f Vercingetorix – Storm Destiny
“She is a very nice Vercingetorix filly, and I rate her an outstanding filly who is very correct.”
Her dam won three times including the G3 Three Troikas Stakes.

Lot 188: Saigon Suzie f Gimmethegreenlight – Bang Sue
“She is an outstanding filly, who scored very highly with the panel”. Bang Sue is a stakes placed daughter of Fort Wood and champion Rat Burana.

Lot 311: High Respect c Gimmethegreenlight – Honorine
“He is just a really nice colt”. From an outstanding family, Honorine won five including the G2 Camelia Stakes and also finished third in the G1 Golden Horseshoe.
