Promising young stallion Talk Of The Town, whose very first runner Famous Lady won on debut, has four yearlings on offer. The son of Var’s quartet is headed by a half-brother (Lot 2) to G3 Gold Bowl/G3 Caradoc Gold Cup winner Sunshine Silk, with this well bred colt out of a full-sister to the dam of Hong Kong G3 winner Chefano.

Talk Of The Town, who is from the same family as outstanding sire Redoute’s Choice among others, is also represented here by a half-sister (Lot 143) to smart filly Lady Mistico as well as the stakes placed Lady Sanza, while the Cape Cross sired Listed KwaZulu-Natal Stakes winner Torra Bay has a Talk Of The Town colt (Lot 152) on offer by the name of Stop The Press.

Sounds Positive, the dam of 2022 BSA Cape Yearling Sale Cup winner Certainly, has a Futura filly (Lot 138) on this year’s Cape Sale, with former Horse Of The Year Futura also represented at the sale by Future Gold (Lot 1), a half-brother to four winners including G3 Strelitzia Stakes second Hot Pearl, and a colt (Lot 124) whose dam is a twice winning half-sister to Listed Spook Express Handicap winner Forest Express.
